Verification
LiveAn entry gate: no access role without going through the panel.
Set up the gate
The principle fits in two server settings: channels are closed to @everyone, and an access role opens them. Axaro only gives that role to whoever goes through the panel, posted by /verification.
| Setting | Effect |
|---|---|
roleId | The access role, given once verification is passed |
mode | One click is enough, or a code to copy |
codeMinutes | Lifetime of a code, from 1 to 30 minutes |
maxAttempts | Attempts before a new code is needed |
logChannelId | Where to log who got through |
The two levels
The click alone stops accounts that join in bulk and do nothing else — most automated raids — and costs a genuine member nothing.
The code also requires reading an ephemeral reply, then opening a form and submitting it. The code is random, lives a few minutes, and its alphabet leaves out pairs the eye confuses: neither O and 0, nor I and 1. A code wrongly refused shuts the door on someone who copied it right.
It is not a captcha, and Axaro does not present it as one. Nothing in it resists someone writing a script for your server in particular. It is a door, not a wall.
